All that was caused by the NPP government led by Nana and Bawumia. There was no confusion in Bawku for a long time until the Mamprusis decided to perform the final funeral rites of a man who died 40 years ago with a clandestine objective of installing another Mamprusis as a rival chief. Alarms were raised by Nana and the NPP were bent on making Bawumia and the Mamprusis happy by allowing the funeral rites and installation of a rival chief in the area. An arrest warrant was issued and the gentleman ran away from the area. After relevant peace had returned to the area, and knowing the NPP was going to be defeated, a situation that would not have allowed the Mamprusis to return to Bawku, again cladestinely went back to a court in Kumasi to have the arrest warrant rescinded. National secuirty then smuggled in the second Cheif into Bawku, sparking the current confusion. So those 83 lives would have been saved if the arrest warrant hadnt been revoked. So I blame the NPP government. They caused all the current violence for political reasons

There was no confusion in Bawku for a long time until the Mamprusis decided to perform the final funeral rites of a man who died 40 years ago with a clandestine objective of installing another Mamprusis as a rival chief.
