The next NPP govt will scrap this policy it is not healthy for the nation. It can only be retained in the rural areas on temporary basis.A President with a vision will not recommend this for the cities in this age.

How does it become a useless law? Are you aware that to be a Taxi or Trotro driver you gave to be 25 years old? Don't say what you don't know.

The important thing is strict enforcement of all the rules. Someone at 18 who don't want to attend school anymore can not be stopped from working as after all the thievery among most well educated people especially in parliament and others in high office does not guarantee anything in a world where unemployment is rife.
Mahama is playing a very dangerous game here.

Haha. I knew it! These Okada folks are like a cartel. I stayed in Lagos and saw how much of a nuisance they became. So much so that the Lagos government banned them. IF they get knocked down by a vehicle even when it was the riders fault, other Okada members would gang up, and beat up the driver of the car sometimes setting the vehicles on fire. I like Mahama but was very dissapaointed in him for legalizing this group. No

Take it to court, a fool with no innovative, research and development plan but just to be destructive.
I wish when he takes this matter to court, he is jailed for the rest of his life. It is about time the country becomes serious business.

There are some people in opposition who will disagree with the age limit. Those younger than age twenty five should rather be encouraged to go and learn something more profitable which they can do for a long time. Almost all these riders are very young and could be future leaders or very important personalities home and abroad. Those now fighting for them, I am sure, have their own children being well educated. They should be encouraged to go into professions far less risky for a bright future. Do not mislead them thinking your fighting for their right.
