  On what grounds should Mahama remove the Chief Justice?
  For what? For insubordination?
  
  Right now there is no prima facie case of insubordination established against the Chief Justice, neither is there any case of malfeasance established against the woman.
  The reality is just simple. The NDC is a party known for its wanton abuses of rule of law, human rights and criminal justice laws. Considering the past record of the AFRC/ P/NDC.
  
  The NDC is the only party known in the history of Ghana and the Gold Coast for executing three High Court Judges and one military officer with in the cover of the night with impunity. And as we remember? the trial of the perpetrators of that heinous crime was bungled and there was a speculation that the alleged principal orchestrating convict was said to have been released and sent to live in Libya, even after Ghanaians were shown pictures of a staged firing squad of one Captain Amatey Quaye by the erstwhile P/ NDC JJ Rawlings military junta.
  
  NDC is also known as the very party that threatened to abduct, rape or marry a former Chief Justice: Mrs Theodora Woods by force. The perpetrators in that abominable attempt were also pardoned and set free by John Manama, even after those known NDC thugs were convicted of the crime and sentenced to serve about six months each in the Nsawam Government Penitentiary.
  
  Again the NDC is known or have been cited in many instances for verbally threatening the members of our Judiciary.
  Despite all these abuse on the judiciary, the Mahama administration is also plotting to remove the current Chief Justice based on some flimsy excuses . But some of us will be quick to report the administration to the international community, given how John Mahama himself made several attempts to paint the Akuffo-Addo administration as the government that abused the rule of law, intruded and trampled upon Ghanaians citizens civil rights when the NDC was in opposition.
  Especially in reminiscent of the infamous speech John Mahama gave at the Chatham House in January 2023

  “The actions of Electoral Commission Chair Jean Mensa and her deputy commissioners, since President Nana Akufo-Addo ousted then-Chairperson Charlotte Osei, have undermined their independence and neutrality, former President John Mahama has said.
  In a lecture on 'Africa's strategic priorities and global role' at Chatham House, London, Mr Mahama said used the Charlotte Osei ouster to demonstrate how African leaders undermine institutions of democracy to entrench their stay in power.
  "Africa needs to build stronger institutions to address institutional and political decay", he said, explaining: "In building stronger institutions, civil society organisations (CSOs) in Africa must also be prioritised".

Most Ghanaians want her fired by the way and it will not a surprise if she is fired . Next to be fired are the chief prosecutor at the office of special prosecutor and the EC chairperson.
