If you require results ensure that all personnel within those areas who have spent more than 3 years or some even 2 years are transferred. They are amassing wealth to build hotels, giant mansions etc.

It will interest you to note that personnel within Tarkwa, Asankragua, Obuasi, Bogoso, etc are the worse culprits. Some have spent more than 20 years in such areas and have ways of annulling their transfers. They are extremely wealthy with several assets some with more than 4 story buildings.

Let the overhauling be holistic and not by tackling minute aspect of it please. Kudos

Most of them know that a policy of shoot to kill on sight will eradicate galamsey in less than two months yet they are going back & forth with the issue. And a dangerous precedent is unfolding the galamseyers are engaging or forming private armies with foreigners to protect them whilst they the mining while the solution to the problem is just stone throw away. We are just not serious as a country & our politicians have let us down massively.
