That Agyapong man was the one who blew the cover of the investigative journalist, he even asked that the journalist be assaulted, not long after which the journalist was murdered. How can Agyapong be left of the hook? He must be arrested.

I have a big issue with our legal system. We are told suspects are innocent until proven otherwise by a competent court of jurisdiction. So on what bases is a suspect held for over a month when all we can hear from court on every sitting is police changing positions and suspect still in custody without bail. Judges must first be prone to grant bail to suspect once they can meet the condition than keeping then in custody if truly the legal prism is true. It shouldn't be for the offender to convince a court to grant a bail but for the prosecutor to convince the court with hard evidence to keep suspect in custody. Freedom once taken cannot be restored. Let the Ghana bar and the bench be open on this to prevent frivolous prosecution.
I have not stepped foot in law school but if given the opportunity to defend this accuse against the best criminal attorney in this country, I am convince of securing the liberty of this young man. This case if this story doesn't change, would be the worst criminal case ever presented in our court for criminal prosecution for murder. All the elements in proven murder is missing in the prosecution case so far. I rest my case.

My point is un practice one is deem guilty until he/she proves innocent in court. Let use this case as case study. This is a guy who have business interest in this country. In fact there is evidence that his company and Multimedia are in court challenging National Pharmaceutical Council injunction application that is preventing Multimedia from airing a documentary on corruption at the Council. He has been working here in Ghana for all these years. Bail comes with conditions the higher the risks, the higher the conditions. You don't keep a suspect for that long when every can see that the information presented by the police so far to the court cannot even convict the man for anything under the criminal code. If the police want to do proper investigation, they must first get a court order to access phone data recording from ceil sites within some close proximity to where the murder happened (a week prior and a week after) in those records certain numbers would be identified and out of that records the police may zero in on the contents of the conversations to map out plans to interrogate suspects to reduce their suspect lists.
What I am hearing in court is very weak and if truly the guy played a role in this murder, the would definitely walk him free with this poor case being presented in court.
