Every good player needs to step aside at some point. Look at a great team like France. Even though they actually WON the World Cup with players like Pogba and Blaise Matuidi, those 2 are no longer a part of the current squad and France is not crying over why they are no longer invited. Let the coach do his job and allow Andre to continue with his club side pursuits, but the Blackstars have moved on from him.

• 2021 AFCON vs Gabon: Andre Ayew refused to make a simple pass to Joseph Paintsil, who was in a clear goal-scoring position. That decision cost us a potential victory.

• 2021 AFCON vs Comoros Islands: He made a reckless tackle, earning a red card that ruled him out of our two crucial World Cup qualification matches against Nigeria. (Thankfully, we still qualified.)

• 2022 World Cup vs Uruguay: In a must-win revenge match, Andre Ayew missed a penalty with a weak and uninspired shot, contributing to Ghana’s early exit and failure to reach the Round of 16.

• 2023 AFCON vs Mozambique: With Ghana leading 2-0, Andre Ayew was subbed in and committed a needless handball in the box. This gifted Mozambique a penalty, sparking their comeback, which ended in a disappointing draw and sealed our group-stage elimination.
