The only thing that matter in the process of removing Chief Justice is for the President to forward the petition to Council of State. On the advice of the council of state, before the President can form a committee to look into the matter then inform The Chief Justice of such petition. Was it not the same procedure Nana Addo followed, when Nana Addo consulted Council of State, the advice was to ignored and therefore Nana Addo did not informed Chief Justice of what was in the petition. Its a process and allow it to travel its cause. Petition does not means automatic removal. The chief Justice will have her 7 days notice to comment or reply the committee and President.

She must be removed for disrespecting the will of Ghanaian people who employed her in the LGBTQ issue when she entertained that law suit when she know that the Judiciary cannot declare a bill which has not mature into law as unconstitutional. Her action amounted to an interference in the work of the Legislature. That act of her also brought the Legislature into disrepute when the then President Nana Addo through his executive secretary warned the legislature to disuse from pursuing its constitutional function of transmitting a bill to the executive for consideration and assenting to it.
The disrespect the Legislature suffered from the executive was as a result of the action of the chief Justice who was aware at the time that the action brought before the court was premature but went ahead and upheld it and as a result set aside the will of the Ghanaian people who through their representatives in parliament said no to LGBTQ+..

Proper interpretation of Article 146 of the 1992 Constitution is what the president has done. The CJ in this instance is not required to receive a copy of the petition. The CJ only receives a copy of the petition under 146(3) when the petition seeks to remove a justice of the Supreme Court other than the CJ.

The NPP women wing leader holding herself up as CJ is above removal from office? Why before she was appointed to the Supreme Court was she told that the Supreme Court was bereft of intelligent justices who could be CJ? An even when she was undeservedly appointed as CJ over her seniors what prevented her for carrying out her function fairly in nonpartisan manner, at least, the barest minimum of fairness? She had the gut to question why parliament was not in session when she was the same person who connived with the NPP spearheaded by the Silly boy Afenyo Markin.

Next time if she gets another opportunity, she should know that life can happen and one needs to tread cautiously when carrying out overt injustice.
