I think the decline was due to a lot factors, which includes the weather condition(rain) and i think most treating issues we the farmers are facing now,another factor is the unfair pricing of the cashew seeds in Ghana which also lead to demoralised in the continuing to farm or produce abandoned seeds, so the government including the companies of cashew should motivate their farmers with a fixed price and let stops reducing pricing day in day out.

The fact is that, the buyer are not able to import cashew from Cote d Ivoire. That is why the price of cashew was high between January to middle of March. For now, the Exporter are frustrating the price and reducing it any ... read full comment
