Excellent plan. Control export of gold and bring back all the FX from the export This alone will stabilise the currency. It is high time this is done to take the benefits of what God has given Ghana in resources.

Why didn't he ever think of this brilliant idea for the past 8 years instead of his huge stealing 'gold for oil' scandal?
Ban the Minerals Commission and establish the State Gold Mining Corporation to extract all our gold and other minerals so that you can keep all the gold at the Bank of Ghana.
This is a great initiative from great minds. Only visionaries can think of such a great idea
