  To me is a good piece parents should adapt if they want their children to be responsible in life.

But if you have been in a situation before and someone gets into it you will perfectly understand them.

  Wise parents will raise their kids to be DISCIPLINE, learn the value of INTEGRITY and HONESTY, appreciate the value of HARD WORK.Children should learn from their earliest years that MONEY DOES NOT GROW ON TREES.They must be made to understand the value of DELAYED GRATIFICATION (in other words ,the importance of postponing enjoyment today so that they can have a better tomorrow). They must be brought up to have EMPATHY and CONSIDERATION for others ,learn to SHARE with others so that they don't grow up one day to become self-centred narcistic individuals who think that the rest of the world owes them a living. It is vital that from their earliest youth they learn that they can't have everything they want. They must have instilled in them the importance of SACRIFICING today so that they can have a great tomorrow.
  The greatest influence on children is PARENTAL EXAMPLE and to a lesser extent the role of others in their environment.
  If they see honesty ,INTEGRITY, HARD WORK, GENEROSITY, COURAGE, CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS, FAITHFULNESS and LOYALTY , GODLINESS modelled in front of them that is what they will in most cases imitate.CHILDREN ARE GREAT IMITATORS. On the other hand if they they grow up seeing dishonesty,unfaithfulness, disrespect for others, cynicism, selfishness, lies and deceit, laziness, scamming or taking unfair advantage of others, witness a get-rich-quick mentality in parents and others then that is what they will also aspire to be.
