The NPP is so amateurish that it is incredible. The only reason why the NPP manages to get more votes than for example the CPP is that they have a committed vast tribal following who will vote for them and throw in their money as well, come what may. Other than that, the CPP is centuries ahead in terms of ideological essence, posture and political organization.

The few thinkers in the NPP should know that the many broken bones that the Party suffered as a result of the beating they suffered at the last elections, will make it highly unlikely that they will recover by 2028. That being the case, this is not the time for them to publicly censure or disparage high profile members of their Party. Doing so in that fashion, will only snowball into greater internal dissent and cracks.

The way matters stand now, if the NPP fails to show a much better result in 2028 - as will very likely be the case, the Party will simply fizzle out into oblivion and in their case, there is no iconic Nkrumah or any outstanding historical or political accomplishments to paper over organizational incompetence.
