Francis Sosu was lucky it wasn't Jun 4th 1979 he would have been killed.This MP instigated NDC Thugs to block all road to and from Danfa- Kweiman for 6hrs that day.They refused the plea of residence of these towns to allow them go to work myself included. These NDC Thugs disobeyed the instructions of Ghana Police to open the various roads which led to a confrontation with warning shots and teargas being used.All this happened in the presence of MP Francis Sosu who came to the place at dawn that day.He was lucky he ran into the bush and was protected by his Thugs. In summary Sosu violated the law and was lucky kind Dr Akuffo Dampare did not pursue the case.I'm even told MP Francis Sosu used that excuse to apply for an asylum for his wife and children from the USA Embassy ,luckily he got a 5year visa for his family

The media has done a lot of disservice to the country. They even portrayed Akufo Addo as an honest person not knowing that was just a smoke screen. We had a dictator and a monster, a thief and tribal bigot. What a shame.

If just 30% of the men/women in Ghana Police Service were like Dr Akuffo Dampare like Ghana would be a better place Unfortunately majority of the men/women in the Service are academically weak and very Corrupt.

Dampare was a vampire who sucked the blood out of many good police officers under his leadership. He targeted especially those officers who have no political connections but rely on hard work to be promoted. While he promoted his cronies and politically connected officers every year, the honest ones were left to stagnate. Some went to court, like Chief Superintendent Mr Oscar, but just like Anas' case against Kennedy Agyeapong, they couldn't get justice. Unfortunately unlike Anas these poor officers have no access to American courts. Many have retired with tears that they will take to their graves. They keep asking themselves what have they done to Dampare? And the only true answer is that Dampare is just pure evil.
