True, we should mine it ourselve, it is better than any deal, all the deals for gold, oil etc, are basically free giveaways, making other countries rich while we remain in poverty.

Most of the so.called "benefits" that are touted to acrue to the state and communities are only replacement values...they merely replace what is taken, even at a much bigger loss to communities, considering the intergenerational and perpetual value of land. There are no new added value to the state and communities out of mining.
Yes, let the global prices drop and dry out, we will be fine as a nation and communities without Lithium mining!

Npp government did not do a feasibility analysis before entering into negotiations on the lithium deal. The deal should be reviewed by the current administration before it goes to the parliament. Ghana is at a disadvantage from gold, manganese, oil and other minerals mined in the country because of such hasty negotiations. This time around, we should be more concerned about how much we can get.

Ghana must have at least 50% if not then no deal and the factory to process the lithium into final product must be in Ghana. Nothing less than that.
Britain and USA have cut there aid we must also cut our aid to them. They are putting their country first so we must do the same

This delay and renegotiation just highlights that investing in Ghana is risky. It's therefore a vicious circle where investors will insist on higher rewards to compensate the increased risk.

We have been thrown scraps for far too long and it's about time we wake or sit up. Haba how long, and why shouid we worry about an investor who's aim is to take it all. Please let's do away with that mind set otherwise future generations will see us as stupid

Ghana needs a fair deal yes but you also need action and to show Ghana is open to investment. Why would investors come to Ghana when they see delays and renegotiation?

Ghana doesn't have enough money or expertise to mine lithium, so you will have a long wait to get it out of the ground. It's a fair deal and if this current government wants to see any benefit from mining they should ratify.
