  In case you dont know,Dampare is the best and your critism will not change it.We dont like truth and good people.We did the same thing to Dr Kwame Nkrumah and today we have regretted it.Ayikoi Otoo give Dampare break.

If arrests were made and still got the sack, at least you did held your honor and NO, they used and dumped you. No IGP can serve both NPP and NDC political masters in Ghana at the same time.NEVER. Like Joyce said, Mr Mahama wanted a loyal IGP and got his man. But the police headquarters beautification is what Mr Dampare did well and will be remembered for.

You soon find out that you are unable to use the existing structures to effect the change that will benefit the institution or the country.
  
  The question is, what would you do if you were confronted with such a dilemma?
  
  It's easy to criticise Dampare when you have no idea what he was dealing with.

  Is Ayikoi Otoo oblivious of the fact that Prez Mahama would not, under any circumstance, retain an IGP put in Office by Ex-Prez Akuffo-Addo? Is this too difficult for him to understand when even ordinary Ghanaians employed by the former President have had their appointments cruelly terminated by JDM? Why is he (Ayikoi) not equally proffering reasons for the termination of the appointments of other high-profile personalities in the other security apparatus -- military, immigration, fire service, prisons, etc.? Dampare was on his way out with the change in government, no matter what.
