Nkrumah gave the North free education leaving the South to fend for themselves, and was that a good idea, and who criticized Nkrumah for discrimination against the South then?
This man was around then and what was his reaction to that policy implemented by Nkrumah? During those day, were Ghanaians in the North that destitute while those in the South swimming in riches where that "educational line" should be drawn without anybody challenging it?
Now that we have a blanket policy for all, some see it as a waste of money. One more thing when Nkrumah was kicked out from office, all his programs, policies etc were cancelled leaving that free education to the North and how has it been funded to date?
We are all Ghanaians, and a policy or program that benefits all, should be supported because an educated population knows and understands its surrounding paving way development.
