Ofui it was NDC thst collapsed Ghana Airways ask Captain Nfodjo. Before NPP came to power in 2000 Ghana airways was riddled with debt so the new Kuffour government had to sell it to pay off some of its debts..

The Private sector Airlines should rather be encouraged to expand their services from local to international. Government simply collects their tax on them.

The best way forward is to create a national airline but give it out to a reputable private company to run it and share the profit. Imagine it being managed by KLM or British Airways or any other good airline company. Ghanaian staff won't sit on their asses doing nothing working under such contract and also find ways to rob the business as they did to the defunct Ghana Airways.

In Ghana, no train travels from Accra to Kumasi let alone continue to Bolga up to Paga and no train movement from Takoradi through Tarkwa, Huni Valley to Kumasi. Is Ghana cursed or what?
