FLOOD WATER FROM THE ABURI MOUNTAINS CAN NO LONGER FLOW EASILY TO THE SAKUMONO RAMSAR SITE.

This task force should not make the mistake of demolishing houses to solve the problem. That was what the Mayor of Accra did in 2015 and sent us to opposition. One or two white men with City Engineering background can help solve this problem easily than two dozen Ghanaians of any calibre. Whoever advises demolition of houses should be sacked from the task force immediately. You do that and the floods are still there you lose double and your enemies pounce on the blunder to run you down. NDC shine your eyes

A city that builds in water ways ,wetlands,almost every house has a concrete walls and floors ,no green space for urban forests .You need to stop investing bin expensive vehicles and push money into sinking huge expensive retention tanks in parts of the city.The Odor river need to be reclaimed by building waste channels that will not release solid waste into any stream.. l am just masters student in environmental planning and climate change but l can prescribe all the solutions about environmental management. The politicians must consult the right people;there are PHD holders at the University at Sunyani but you won't listen to them.

Taskforce is not necessary here and it's waste of resources. Give the MMDAs and and the Road Ministry the political will to evict structures obstructing the flow of water and also work on the drainage.
