Aye3ka ! We will never come out from this quagmire we find ourselves suck in anytime soon. While the likes of Burkina Faso is rejecting foreign loans from the world bank and IMF , Ghana arms are wide open and the IMF is ready to push anything filthy down in our throat. History has repeats itself time and again that, those who came to rule Ghana after Dr. Nkrumah are either misleaders , lazy thinkers or doesn’t think at all outside the box or simply stupid people who doesn’t know how to govern. We have been borrowing all these while of periods of time while our gold production kept going up from time to time but our debts kept rising but our misleaders won’t sit down or pipe down to think what we can do differently, a military man has a brain to import road construction machinery and equipment for his soldiers to construct the country’s infrastructure. What is Ghana military doing apart from beating us on the streets and foreign missions assignments? Every Ghanaian at the age of 18 with education qualifications or not should serve Ghana for 2 years , 1 year military training compulsory with building our road infrastructure and 1 year state agricultural training program to reclaimed our deplorable forest land and food production.

It’s a smaller country and besides a military regime as well. Take it from here, it will come back to bite them. IMF Reaches Staff-Level Agreement with Burkina Faso on the Second Review of the Extended Credit Facility
November 14, 2024
Press releases include statements of IMF staff teams that convey preliminary findings after meetings with the authorities of a country. The views expressed in this statement are those of the IMF staff and do not necessarily represent the views of the IMF’s Executive Board. Based on the preliminary conclusions of the meetings, staff will prepare a report that, subject to management approval, will be presented to the IMF's Executive Board for discussion and decision.
International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff and the Burkinabè authorities have reached a staff-level agreement on economic policies to conclude the second review of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) arrangement. Once the review is approved by IMF Management and completed by the IMF Executive Board, Burkina Faso will have access to about US$ 32 million (SDR 24.1 million) in financing.

We are back to the base with IMF & World Bank dictating our national affairs despite change in gov`t.
Ghanaians eking out their living in the fore corners of the globe were able to inject into our Ghanaian economy a reportedly $6billion only in the fiscal year 2024. If $6billion did not help, how much more paltry $.3billion?
So, this $1.3billion will not make any positive dent in our economy given the way President Mahama-led NDC administration is stepping out with IMF & World Bank, the two most international destructive financial institutions in the world.
No country on planet earth had ever seen better days, economically & financially, dealing with IMF & World Bank, yet, our successive governments keep going to them for some cash for our destruction.

Togo doesn't mine gold in their country, yet they export large amount of gold, mostly smuggled Ghana gold. Why can't Ghanaian authorities use their minds for the good of the country?
