We have to remind Mahama about the ministry he set up some time ago. Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Social Protection. Which other members of our society need that protection apart from the physically challenged? Not one single bill was passed in their favor. I stand to be corrected.

He ducked the question. She asked him two clear questions. He ducked both of them. The first question was, if that bill comes to your desk, will you sign it? He said, oh, but the bill was not signed the last time so it has to go through the parliamentary process again bla bla bla. The question was WILL YOU SIGN IT. We can see clearly that he's chickened out. He won't. He can't. Just like Akufo Addo couldn't.

The second question was are you concerned about donor pressure to cut funding should such a bill be passed. Again he ducked the question. Preferring to answer a question that was not asked instead. He talked about how it's the prerogative of the donor's to take that decision (NO SHIT!!) and how we all have different cultural values bla bla bla. If it was an exam, he would have scored a F.

There is a difference between campaigning and governing. Ghanaian public should get that straight. We are a poor country that dances to the tunes of our donor masters. Independence my foot.
