FYI, good schools (like the ones from which I graduated) kick you out when your grade drops below 2.0, our C level.

Unfortunate you are a victim of a deceitful student however, the privacy of individuals must be taken into consideration. There could some innocent persons who tried hard but for unfortunate circumstances like chronic illness, lack of financial resources and a whole lot. I totally agree that if they can’t make the grades they should be withdrawn.. They don’t belong in the school but it doesn’t justify publishing.

I challenge as many Ghanaians as possible to look up the names of these very same "useless" or "poor performing" students in 10,15,20 25 years. Mark my words. Those of you laughing ,mocking and denigrating them today will not be doing so for some of them in years to come. The humiliation, shame, hardships that they are enduring today (whether due to their own fault or due to adverse circumstances over which they have no control) will help many of them to DEVELOP A STRENGTH OF CHARACTER AND EVEN FAITH IN GOD that will make them great achievers, leaders and winners in diverse professions. I know what I am talking about. I hate to say this but some of you haters mocking and laughing at them today will find yourselves one day going to these very same "failures" asking for help , seeking favors etc. I HAVE LIVED LONG ENOUGH TO SEE IT ALL. I HAVE BEEN AROUND LONG ENOUGH TO SEE MANY OF YESTERDAY'S "BRIGHT " AND "POPULAR" STUDENTS SERIOUSLY UNDERPERFORM CLASS MATES WITH SUPPOSED LOWER ACADEMIC ABILITIES AND WITNESSED SOME BRIGHT FOLK EVEN SEEK HELP OR EMPLOYMENT FROM ESRTWHILE "DENSE" , "SLOW" "E" OR "F" GRADE SCHOOL MATES. This tells us that there is something fundamentally flawed with the selection process used in our schools ,colleges and universities which we adopted from Western models.
LET THIS ENCOURAGE ALL THOSE "F" GRADE OR FAILURES. FROM THS DAY ON LET THE LETTER "F" REPRESENT FOR YOU NOT "FAILURE" BUT LET IT STAND FOR YOUR "FUTURE". THE FUTURE IS YOURS TO POSSESS.THE FUTURE IS YOUR PROMISED LAND OF CANAAN. YOU CAN TAKE THE LAND BUT MUCH PREPARATION AND VERY HARD WORK LIES AHEAD OF YOU IF YOU WANT TO WIN BIG IN YEARS TO COME. SUCCESS WILL NOT HAPPEN IN JUST A FEW YEARS. IT TAKES TIME,MUCH PATIENCE AND DISCIPLINE TO EVENTUALLY DO VERY WELL. YOU WILL NEED TO SHED MANY BAD HABBITS AND INSTEAD LEARN TO BE BE FOCUSED , START AVOIDING DISTRACTIONS (IT WILL MEANS STOP WASTING TIME ON TV OR SOCIAL MEDIA,PARTYING,CHASING BOYS OR GIRLS, IT WILL MEAN AVOIDING FRIENDS AND OTHERS WHO WASTE OR TAKE UP A LOT OF YOUR TIME),REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS IN LIFE. ALWAYS ASK YOURSELF- "WHAT I AM DOING OR ABOUT TO DO WILL IT HELP ME ACHIEVE THE GREAT FUTURE I WANT"? AND ABOVE ALL TRUSTING THE LORD,HAVING THE LORD ON YOUR SIDE MEANS UNFAILING SUCCESS IN THIS LIFE. THE BIBLE,THE WORD OF GOD WILL BE YOUR GUIDE. HONOUR THE LORD BY FOLLOWING HIS COMMANDS AND PRECEPTS. TAKE IT AS ADVICE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS RUN THIS MARATHON RACE AND WON BIG.

Out of this so-called list of "failures" or of "F" students will emerge some of tomorrow's greatest achievers. I have witneseed this sort of thing happen over and over again during the last few decades.AND IT IS A EVIDENCE THAT ACADEMIC ABILITY ALONE IS OFTEN NOT A GOOD INDICATOR OF FUTURE ACHIEVEMENT.In fact there is ample evidence according to countless research sociologists and psychologist that having a very high IQ(Intelligence quoetient) CAN EVEN BE COUNTERPRODUCTIVE.Far more important is having the ability to withstand and adapt to adversity (AQ),having resilience and tenacity. What counts far more is learning to have courage, cultivating patiennce, having the ability to work very hard, learning to get along with other people, learning to plan ahead, delaying enjoyment today so that you can experience a great harvest tomorrow - these are all transformative habits that make you eventually achieve great success.NOTE THAT VERY VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE BORN WITH THESE GREAT QUALITITIES, RATHER THEY ARE LEARNED OR ACQUIRED BY GOING THROUGH LIFE'S OFTEN PAINFUL EXPERIENCES OR LEARNING FROM ONE'S MISTAKES!
TRUE SUCCESS IS ALWAYS THE RESULT OF AN OFTEN LONG-DRAWN PROCESS, REAL SUCCESS NEVER HAPPENS IN AN INSTANT .REAL AND ENDURING SUCCESS IS ALMOST ALWAYS ARRIVED AFTER MARATHON JOURNEY . IT IS A RACE WHICH IS ONLY WON BY THOSE WHO HAVE LEARNED TO ENDURE,LEARNED TO PICK THEMSELVES UP AFTER "FAILURE" ,WHO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE NO FREE MEAL TICKETS ANYWHERE IN THIS WORLD, AND WHO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS TO GOOD SUCCESS.
In 10,15 20 or 30 years time nobody will be laughing at some of these folk that have been kicked out of school for having "poor academic results"

Failure in itself is success, unless one has no ambition. I salute my Dad who insisted I must do remedials to pass all secondary school subjects. Then, other colleagues had their parents work out A-level entries for them but for me, big no from mine. To cut it short, I ended up with UG first class at the end. When we meet as former mates now, Charley no competitor - in wisdom, knowledge, social class etc. All Glory to Almighty God who inspired my spirit to see myself extraordinary even in low moments!
