DR. Papa kwasi NDUOM was and is a fraudster. His GN BANK was a PONZI SCHEME. His Bank was totally bankrupt and couldn't honour its financial obligations to its customers long before the BANK was closed by the previous government. DR. YAMSON shouldn't throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians. Enough of the politics Dr. YAMSON, but Ghana first.

Some fund managers appointed to pay customers after the revocation of the licences are finding it difficult to pay customers of such financial institutions like Firstfund Fiinancial, while the owners of the financial institutions walk freely on streets of Accra. There's therefore the need to relook at the revocation of licences. Thank you.

People are just ignorant. I own shares in a bank. The bank is insolvent as a result of me taken money out of the bank. Mr Yamson is saying that I should be made to surrender my shares. Tweaaaaa. I will quickly do so. What is the value of those shares ? When a bank is insolvent in Ghana, the shareholders are always ready to run away with their booty. To say surrender your shares will be a welcome relief. What is the value of shares of a bank with high negative net worth and huge negative CAR? Don't talk about Goodwill here pls. I can tell you that no investigations would be done because the gvt knows that the result woulld be unpleasant , they know how these banks were operated They have already engaged some of the receivers and they are shocked.

For the National Economic Dialogue to be led by this individual is a tragedy. Because we are living in modern times, his knowledge of antiquated economics will not be of any assistance to us in any way. Where was he when the owners of the banking industry were consistently causing problems for the industry? The revocation of those licenses was justified, and no one can get them back unless the Chief Clearing Agent once again decides to visit his political forgiveness for them because that is what he knows best.

The impartial objective approach is to replace INCOMPETENT management personnel, improve and update management systems and structures. The institution is left to continue operating. Here in Ghana, when we find management problems, we close the institution. We don't act as if wrong or INCOMPETENT management can( and should) be corrected, so that the institution can continue functioning. After 1966 we branded all the institutions and businesses and organisations in all areas of National Development as INCOMPETENT or inefficient or unsuitable for Ghana. Bonsa Tyres, Saltpond Ceramics, Brick & Tiles Factory, Steel Works, and dozens more , were closed down one after the other over the years. Military, Civil, NDC, NPP all played their part and , together, succeeded in dismantling the industrial fabric that had been established for the future progress of our nation. Some of believe that our weak economy is a result of those activities. 17 times to IMF should tell us that we have a very weak base.
