You said "politicians in the country have not made a significant impact after Ghana became a 4th republic." Doctor, if you don't need any position in the present government you will never say this? How long did JJ, the founder of the NDC rule the country from 1981 to 1992? In this 4th republic JJ ruled for 8 years; Mills and Mahama ruled for 8 years. Kuffour and Nana Addo each ruled for 8 years. So what is the sense your argument that "NPP could not develop the country after 8 years in power, Ghanaians should maintain them in opposition." Something is definitely wrong with Badu Akosa.
