  I as a NDC sympathiser do not believe, they are willing to fight galamsay. The talking is too much but no action. We are yet to see a concrete plan to stop galamsay for good. Our leaders behave as if, they do not have brain in their heads. Do we also want IMF and World Bank to tell us how to stop galamsay? Black man has problem with leadership but Ibrahim Traore, Mali and Niger leaders are giving us hope. President Mahama has nothing to lose, he should be tough on his ministers to deliver.

  Exactly the point. Our politicians are behaving as if gold is untouchable. Because of gold and so everything should be destroyed to get the gold.. The hypocrisy and double standard of our politicians must stop now to save our forest reserves and water bodies. Why can't the government ban the use of excavators by small scale miners? Once the illegal miners have access to the excavators, they will always destroy our forest reserves and water bodies. Our politicians should be courageous and bold and ban the use of excavators by small scale miners to save the environment
