Some people are very wise and intelligent and hope their opinions would be adopted. I don’t really know their problems but seems it’s our own people appointed there that are either incompetent, corrupt, under staffed or whatever. Numerous issues but one example is ECG meter acquisition which has been a gold mine for their workers thereby forgetting their core mandate. You cannot get a meter unless through a middle man or wait for over a year whiles you need it urgently. When u finally get it and the meter develops a fault and you report, you are treated like a criminal. No formal complaint form is there except to write your number in false hope that they will come and resolve it . U then have to follow up severally before it will be resolved. If you connect illegally in the waiting period, another group will come and their interest would be for you to pay them a bribe to leave you but not to help you resolve the faulty meter .

The recommendations on the prepaid meters acquisition are very welcoming. I salute this man Dr Daniel Owusu for making clear submissions giving free prepaid meters to electric power users. The meters are the devices the ECG company is using to record units of power the users had consumed and give them the vivid figures to charge the consumers.
Why should we make initial payment before we get those devices. The ECG has not been fair to the entire Ghanaian community for selling meters to power users. I agree with Dr Owusu hundred percent that, the ECG should be enforced to give a free prepaid meters to every power user in Ghana

Oh ,Ghana why should it be a herculian task to secure a meter.Meters should be like Sim card ,should be given free for ECG to collect their revenues.
