JB was never a member of Nkrumah’s government to have betrayed him to be called a traitor. A traitor is a friend who disappoints you. If there was such thing then Nkrumah did. JB brought him to help the UGCC in its quest for independence and Nkrumah betrayed him; and imprisoned him. Why did Nkrumah imprison JB if he was so nothing? Nkrumah knew that with time JB’s ideas will resonate with the people and that will not be good for his authoritarian region regime. Nkrumah by imprisoning JB at that moment imprisoned Freedom, but the Truth will always stand even if it takes years — today we are enjoying what JB stood for and went to prison for it — DEMOCRACY. The US that Nkrumah so hated and turned to communism are the ones we want to be like. Nkrumah lacked foresight and is not the visionary leader people portray him to be. ..Coming from Nzema East, we faced serious high tide problems at our beaches in Axim.. I kept talking about this until Nana Addo came to construct break waters for us. Today, almost 150m in width of sea front area has been reclaimed as land with cold stores and other small business houses built on them. The breakwaters have also given the fishermen nice and safe landing facilities that make their work easier while at the same time turning the whole town into a city. Keta needs something similar,. Keta and all the adjoining villages can have separate break waters technically connected together into a very beautiful architecture scene, while serving a very important erosion defence, Tourism, hospitality and inland fishing purpose, A long break waters that will turn the sea front from a curse to a big blessing.

Why are we still discussing this.The truth is that the NDC did the right thing in reversing or annulling the appointments made by the NPP after losing the elections and knowing very well that they were in no position to make any such appointments for an incoming government to inherit when it had no clear idea of the State's sorry financial position.If it was wrong for the NDC to do so then why did the NPP terminate all appointments by the NDC in 2017 under similar circumstances.
