  personally, ive preferred ronaldo to messi. messi is magical as a player. he can dribble, he is fast, his passes are crisp and he sxcores spectacular goals. but it ends there. plus, he went to french lg n bombed. he went to mls and he has been quiet. he excelled majorly in the spanish lg. ronaldo is technically superior. he is a potent striker and a winger. he scores goals with his feet, head. he excelled in every lg he went to even in the saudi lg he is doing numbers at his age. he may not have won a wcup trophy or more ballon but thats political. eto has won more trophies than abedi and george weah but ask anyone who saw these 3 play and they will tell you whom they will pick for their team. i prefer abedi in his prime than eto and george weah. unlike eto and weah. abedi could play multiple spots on the pitch. his brilliance and wizadry was phenomenal and had it not being for silly politics he would have been the first negga to have won ballon dor. how does papin win ballon over abedi? are you blind?
