Double taxation is a crime dumb head. If government wants to mobilize more revenue, we need to cut down expenditure, reduce corruption and finally put out good measures to eliminate misappropriation of funds. Prof, pls go through some of the auditor general's report and you will notice we are losing more money than what those nuisance taxes rake in. The annual returns from e levy is not even up to 1billion ghc but we lose over 12billion ghc to corruption and misappropriation. Mr. Minister, pls replace the covid levy with reset levy.
