How can Ghana ever develop with this level of madness? If the cost is $250 million and the area is 21,551 square meters as reported, then the cost per square meter is $11,600. This is more than double the cost of buildings in New York City. Buildings in New York's central district, described as the most expensive in the whole world, cost currently $5,723 per square meter. Hong Kong is next to New York, costing $4, 500 per square meter to build. How in heaven's name should Accra be even half as expensive as that? And yet it is more than twice as expensive! People must go to jail if we are ever going to get anywhere as Ghanaians.
