Beside,what was the % of the absentee of the trainees,insignificant to consider as a figure but the whiteman could not see to amend the ruling.   The final commission list for the parade is different from the commission itself.the commandant of the academy will refuse to have him on the list,for the record but Nkrumah signed each commission paper which is similar to being given a diploma or a degree.so once Nkrumah has signed acheampong's commission paper and handed it over to him after the parade in the line up at the mess,acheampong is deemed a commissioned officer.the commission paper is taken to the defense ministry who notify the finance ministry to accept and pay him as an officer,simple.the final commissioning list where his name was absent is a military prerogative of the commandant.a protest order of sorts that Nkrumah cannot alter,as it's pure military protocol.however once that commission paper is signed that's it.acheampong was took part in the final parade on protest of commandant,but Nkrumah overruled and signed his commission paper.
