We didn't see or hear any Muslim speak against it but when it was time for us to build a national cathedral for Christians, they stood up against it. Muslims are more united if something is beneficial to them. Christians should learn from Muslims so far as unity is concerned

Don’t get me wrong but everyone has the opportunity to enjoy his beliefs but not at the expense of others and in the name of politics. We deserve better. I am against national cathedral so am I against governments involvement in the hajj affairs. Let’s disengage in these that will not bring any development or advancement to our nation. Even that site will create future havoc during hajj times, traffic etc. We have lived without it and life has moved on. God save Africa.

Because of the attitude of NDC and National Cathedral critics, the Church has taken things into its own hands. Pentecost made a bold decision to build the Convention centre. Lighthouse Chapel has a similar retreat centre. Potter's City has one. Assemblies of God and Presby are building theirs. Very soon the Catholics will follow up with the real cathedral of their own and critics will be shamed completely
