The empty buiding at 950,000 Ghana cedis? I bet I could have built the same 6-room unit for half the cost. The cost could still have been just a small fraction of that had the warring youth of the area provided labor. I know ... read full comment

I know Alavanyo very well and I know there a lot of young men - and women - loitering around in that village. By the way, this concept of youth participation applies to every town, village and hamlet in Ghana.
