  It is substituting individual will for the good of the people. Discipline and law abiding is important in nation building. This is a strict military doctrine but can be applied anywhere. Good idea.

  Stop the nonsense. Think about how these young men and women get jobs after the National Service. My niece - young, lanky and very fit and played a number of sports in the University. She applied to join the Army; and it's not like was not qualifoed, but every person she talked wanted "chop" her. She tried the Police and it was the name. The women's ministry (whatever it is called) should set up a whistle blowers' hotline for people like my niece to make their cases.

  Good idea. Infact, the military training will instil some discipline in the youth who move from school/university straight to the job place and all they have in mind is to start taking bribes from whoever comes to the ministry they secured the job.
  
  Military training will at least teach you discipline and honesty which is the best policy to adapt when employed. Unlike policemen, military units hardly take bribes in course of their duties. At least some will walk out of the military training with a different mindset of not focusing on bribe taking whenever they land a job.
