My reason being that for the 8 long years that Akufo Addo's government has been in power it was only some social commentators who defied the status quo with high risk to refer to crisis like this as dumsor but no official source described it as such. NPP has different descriptions or names for it eg: dumsiesie. But having NDC in government for only one and falf months the executive director of an energy institution has boldly started calling a mess that they inherited from NPP as dumsor. Is it not interesting?. In any case for the sake of records Nana should let us know under which government this ECG negligence happened. Each time I read comments on any Political issue, the more I am convinced that a Multi-Party System largely based on tribal loyalties will be our ultimate downfall.
Again, I know and history shows clearly that this will eventually lead to Civil War, which on the face of it might look bad, but will ultimately separate the wise from the foolish.
Many prosperous parts of the World today had to go through upheaval to get to where they are today. The French Revolution, Russian Revolution, Chinese Revolution are all examples of this phenomenon. In a perverse way, we have to go via a similar path. After all, Rwanda fought a Civil War some years ago. They then went ahead after that to ban the "Tribe". Today, Rwanda is peaceful and prospering, whilst Countries especially those in West Africa practising this sham of a system are "developing backwards".

There is a possibility to refine used engine oil in fuel which we have in abundance and can even be collected from the public at a very cheap cost and then refined in to usable fuel. The tons of used oil poured down everyday in the drain is massive, we can make good use of it. We don't need to wait for the white man to come and teach us, we can learn by ourselves.

Even Sweden as a developed country partially generates energy from use cloths and supplies hot water throughout the country during winter, even all year round.

Let invest in Green recycling energy and also try to subsidize solar energy in households to take the burden on the national grid.

Let's forget about petty politics and focus on building this country.
