It looks like in 2024 the home and offices of the current US President Donald Trump were invaded and searched by US security services.
As a result he was send to court to defend himself over issues, some about the demonstrators occupation of the White House on 6th January, 2021.
He was sentenced, but later the Supreme Court in the US ruled that Donald Trump as a former president is immune from prosecution.
Ken Ofori-Atta was a Minister of Finance and not a former president of Ghana, so if it is alleged that he has committed a crime Ghana security services deserves all right to investigate him. I am not sure if the laws of Ghana said that a person cannot be arrested or searched by the security services of Ghana.
As the laws of Ghana are a person who commits a crime is first arrested by the police charged and then send to court where he is made to defend himself.
However let's send our minds back to 2017 when Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP came to power on 7/1/2017. Nana Akufo-Addo loosed their Delta Forces and Invincible Forces on Ghanaians.
John Dumelo told the story of how a vehicle he bought from a company selling vehicles was taken from him in 2017 by members of NPP who were of the view that that vehicle belongs to the state.
Today he see NDC ministers saying that they are sorry for the actions of the security services and their members, something that never happened when NPP was in power from 7/1/2017 to 7/1/2024.
The Invincible Forces in 2017 invaded a court to free their members who committed criminal acts in the full view of the whole world.
It looks like in 2017 Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia lost his voice.

This Bawumia guy talks like he is a Foreigner and has just arrived in Ghana. I hope he hasn’t forgotten the first few days of His administration as Vice President. People raiding court houses and freeing characters on trial , beating up innocent in courtrooms , sacking appointees ,lawlessness etc. One would have expected this guy to suggest something sensible or different. At least, to Avoid new Appointees by The President just getting to the general elections or after the general election by the outgoing administration. Just let common sense prevail.
