So what should we do? You are the Minister. Your predecessor failed. You were appointed to solve such. Why lament? Take immediate action as part of the resetting Ghana agenda. We are tired of the Lamentations.

Thanks for informing us. Now take action. If the military had been allowed to burn or seize their machines we'll have moved on by now. They are killing us. They have guns to kill people why not shoot them back.

Nii thank u, but the burning of excavators will never eliminate these criminals especially Chinese from doing the galamsey..burning excavators will never stop them from doing the galamsey..I grew up in a galamsey community because I was born In The western region..before I was born, there was galamsey, glansey has been going on for decades without any destruction to water bodies or our lands..it’s the recent involvement of these babaric Chinese who has destroyed most of the lands and the water bodies..the Chinese came to Ghana and taught our people how to use excavators, chanfan machines to be mining on the water bodies..before the arrival of these babaric Chinese, the average Ghanaian galamseyer uses shovel and pick axes to dig holes to look for gold..if u go to the western region now, every Chinese sites is heavily guarded by armed men..they are not scared of getting arrested because they alwys find their way out of prison..burning excavators and arresting these babaric Chinese will never stop them because they are connected..mark it everywhere, let the govt execute these Babaric criminal Chinese and let the major news outlets cover it..I bet u, all these nonesense will stop automatically..the soft handling of these galamsey issues will never solve the problem

This illegal mining problem is mainly caused by the animalistic Chinese..before the invasion of these demonic stupid Chinese in Ghana, there was no pollution of our water bodies..under Npp govt, more and more animalistic Chinese citizens came to Ghana than we have ever recorded in the history of Ghana.if Ndc wants to use the same approach Npp did, it will never work..so now what’s the solution, very simple, capture just 3 Chinese animals involved in these galansey and publicly execute them..the arrest of these Chinese is total waste of time..as soon as they are arrested, some big men release them secretly and they run back to China..after some few weeks, new set of Chinese sneak back into our country..if u want to succeed, public execution of these criminal Chinese will solve this problem quick..you could be exited in China for throwing trash in their water bodies so why are we having some weak leadership allowing these idiotic Chinese to come and be killing our people and run back into their country..

The Chinese have bigger connections than even some top Ghanaian politicians..I am from the western region and the Chinese have bribed most of the chiefs, police, prison officers and even some military men..as a minister, u should know, that’s why when u arrest these Chinese, there is no fear in them because they know how to get away when they are arrested..they take Ghanaians for fool..an African will be executed in China for throwing trash into their water bodies, why do we alwys allow foreigners to take our country for granted..Chinese are very wicked and barbaric people..just arresting them will never solve the problem, u get them, u put camera on them, u execute some of them, it will send a strong warning to them..some Ghanaians who also refuse to stop mining before our water bodies after several warnings also deserve same execution..if the govt continues playing soft on these criminals Chinese, 10years from now, every water bodies in Ghana will be totally destroyed..this is not a joke..there is a proper way to do these galansey without polluting the water bodies..the use of excavators and chanfang machines is the cause of destruction to our lands and water bodies..the Bible said he who has ears, let him listen..I used 5 whole years, wasting my precious time typing here telling Npp same thing, they refuse to apply it, and it affected them..if Ndc wants to succeed In the fight against galansey, the solution is very simple..get just 3 if this criminal Chinese and execute them with no mercy..and see the results..they will all run away like chickens
