It’s going to be extremely hard to prosecute Ofori Atta after this illegal raid in his home. For the millions of NDC followers who have absolutely no legal reasoning, the raid is nothing. However, for those with good legal acumen, this will irreparable hamper the government’s ability to prosecute. Ofori Atta can simply argue that all his defense documents were literally stolen by the government during the raid. It’s going to be hard to move this case in a court of law. It’s going to drag on for years just like the Opuni case and eventually dismissed.

Fools . You let Ofori Atta slipped out of the country and then declared him a wanted man . This man left the country long ago through Kotoka Airport and none of the security agencies could stop him even though he is well known to most of these agents. What is the purpose of the raid ? If there were any vital information this man could have destroyed evidence before the raid looking at the time frame of the raid long after Ofori Atta had left the country. At best the security agents could have secured the house and place agents at the premises to make sure no body has access to the building until a court order was secured to search the house.
The government knows who are implicated in the loot of our national funds and the most tangible thing to do is to ban them from traveling, place them under surveillance or house arrest or confiscate their passports until their are proven innocent by a competent court . Ghanaians support the operation ORAL and those who are guilty must be prosecuted, have them refund the money or return the looted lands and jailed for their crimes against the people.
