  Winnings shoukd only be taxed after you have won a certain amount for example if you win big money you must be taxed but no taxes on small.winnings that's stupid and discourages betting

  Minister, how do you call a betting tax a nuisance tax if not for the political expedience? Abolishing it would rather be counterproductive. The argument of wagering as a source of livelihood is very problematic sir as a youth with negative consequences on the productive base of the economy. Lets think Ghana first and as leaders direct our youth to the right path. If one wants to stake it should be for the fun but not as a source of livelihood being entrenched and supported by our leaders
