We should have done so long ago. Food sustainability (especially grains—rice and corn and maize) should be encouraged and professionally stored to fill in the gaps in general food drought. Our local investors must be supported and the same time as Farmers are being incentivized to expand production action. There is equally more money to be made at home and at neighboring countries than overseas exports.

Since when does Mahama realize this?
During his first mandate, he sent people to Burkina Faso to learn tomatoes farming when our trouble was about feeder roads to tomatoes farming areas. The roads were impractical and farms inaccessible, so farm products got quickly rotten.
I never bought into the pretense for the training in Burkina because it was completely understandable that we have had this accessibility situation forever; it's the same situation as with fruits.
How could any reasonable person send people from Ghana to Burkina to learn farming methods when we have more rivers and annual rainfall than Burkina? So now, it's the suspension of USAID that that we can push a resolve so ensure farmers are more productive? Put your fucking heads on annd fixxx the fucking rroads! Stupid politicians should all receive 100 lashes every morning to learn to reason.
If you're able to recover the loot from NPP, roads must be the first objective thing to address. Build more roadS!
