SSNIT is a public trust not a government trust and we should look closely at the appointments system among other adverse governmental encroachments. Organised labour should be a major decider of top level appointments.

Congrats the new Director General. Please take steps to reverse the decision of the past management to pay pensions on the 3rd Thursday of the month. This decision was not scientific. It was only an action by wicked people. This decision meant that pensions are paid after 4 to 5 weeks of the previous payment. Under the previous John Mahama and the NDC administration, pensions were paid on the 15th of every month. This makes the waiting time to be a maximum of only 30 days. Contrast this with the more than 5 weeks that the Osago Maafo group did. Mr Director General please do us a favor by reversing that unpopular decision. Welcome to the office
