Let us not be stupidly tribal. In modern times, the name of a person does not indicate where one comes from. Akuffo Dampare for example has no relationship with Akuffo Addo and he is not an Akyem or Akwapem. He is from the North of Ghana. Kwasi Nyantakyi is not an Asante or Akan. He is a FRAFRA. I am Agyena-Karikari but not related to any of the Asante Royal Homes. I am rather from Adukrom. The Army Officer Nyantakyi is not an Akan but a Dagomba. Let us be careful when we start to attack any Ethnic group because a name suggests where a person comes from. As l publish this now, I have a friend called Efo who is not an Ewe but an Asante. So let us stop attacking each other for a crime because the bearer of that name suggests where the person comes from. How many Ghanaians are called Osei, Tutu, Prempeh or Bonsu but are not Asante people?
If the story we have heard is true, the Gentleman then did not do well and must be taken to the Court for trial and punishment.. lnsulting fellow Ghanaians for a crime because the name such people carry suggests their Ethnicity is very wrong and unacceptable.

The claim for Ghanaian citizenship is very complex so is which tribe one belongs to.
You see, when the white person see us, they are not looking at our tribal differences to judge us. There is a wide difference between the Scottish and English but will never allow that to hinder their progress.
The Germans and French not mentioning the English have wide differences but they are always together. Even after Brexit, they see their future as ONE.
We should eschew this tribal bigotry because it is nasty. Very divisive and it allows foreigners to have one over us.
Many uneducated people do not know that there is a very close relationship between Ewes and Fantis and also between Ashantis and Kotokoli and Dagombas. There is a commonality between the Kotokoli in the Volta North and Upper East and the Kwahus. Its a pity.
