However, the question is, is Mahama undertaking this diplomatic outreach in coordination with ECOWAS and in consultation with its Chairman, President Tinubu of Nigeria? If not, then his lone-ranger campaign undermines the concerted efforts of ECOWAS to find a solution that also respects the organization's principles and integrity.
