There should be a national policy towards putting infrastructure in place to utilise excess gas being flared to power our homes, industries and even export to neighbouring countries.
These will reduce utility cost of production, stabilise the Cedi, create more jobs and attract investors.
God bless Ghana and make her great and strong.
God bless Mahama' government to do more than what previous governments have done

Building another oil refinery in Takoradi makes a lot of sense. Tor was built by Nkrumah because of its proximity to Nigeria. Now Ghana is getting oil from the western region

What kind of short-sighted exploration model allows external parties and elements a majority share to our natural resources???? Have we not heard of the Norway model?? Is it not entirely possible to copy it??? I just do not understand this nonsense. Norway is what it has become because they understand that in today's resource-rich market you can literally buy expertise and technical capacity!!

The reset agenda of thiscountry must bring everything in the country into the microscopic view.
any partnership to the country natural resources must be of mutual benefit.
there are 2 ways of doing this
1. either you we share it 50 to 50%
or
2 we all put our hands resources and energy into the operation to pay the operational cost , and share the profits 50 to 50 %- in this mode the government must not tax the company but the individuals must pay taxes of their gross income per annum-
any company who is not ready as a developing partner must be seen as syphoning eqo benefical and must be treated with maximum tax on their profits.
4. every company interested in Ghana resources must be fully incomporated in Ghana. and all contracts must be signed in Ghana to give our court system power and mandate on any issue of misunderstanding as we do business together,
weas a country called Ghana need the foreign expertees and investors , the same way those investors also need Ghana resources for the business and profits that makes them developing partners.
if you are a developing partner, your profits must stay in ghana to boost the country economy.
if the government cannot find a company who understands partnership in helping develop the country, the interested resources must not be touched,
leave it there and send students abroad to learn the techincal knowledge about the operation then you esterblish SOE for that resources.
eg
the lithium
we must find a company who is ready to manufacture the bateries in ghana with our resouces , and partner with - Toyota, Mecedez, Ford or any car manufacturer and any company like the sonny, philips, sumsung etc- that is what we need now as a country
