More importantly, no Minister should have access to state resources for the purposes of going abroad for medical care. For the obvious reasons of respect for their offices, only the President, his Vice, the Speaker of Parliament and the Chief Justice - but only after the exit of the current one due to the willful and mischievous pains she caused this country just prior to the last elections. The massive amounts expended on the political class when saved, can go a long way to considerably improve the shabby health delivery system of this country.

If Mahama really wants to make savings from travel he should ban business class as well as first class air tickets. All Govt Officials should be travelling by economy class like the majority of their citizens.

There's a huge difference between Businesses class and first class but some use the words interchangeably. How can you stop ceo's and managing directors from flying business when the law says they should? This a populist move sir. If you truly want what you're saying to occur, then change the law that allows the opulence. Not just words which we all know do not work here in Ghana.
