Kwame.. i think what they meant to communicate was the benefits will cover their children below the ages of 21yrs. So after 21yrs.. the children cease to enjoy the benefits.

All these benefits were setout in the 1992 constitution led by the NDC with little expertise in law then.
The NPP shouldn't have boycotted its formation, now we're all suffering the effects.

It looks like the unions are not doing the best for their members especially when it comes to tier 2 and 3. I am of the view that its a long time tier 2 moves from 5% to 7% and tier 3 moves from 5% to 10% and that will make tier 3 A and B contribution to be 20%.
The government must make sure that workers contribution to tier 2 and 3 are managed by SSNIT and State Insurance Company, in terms of government employees.
That will prevent the state to go outside Ghana to borrow, because some of the tier 2 and 3 are being managed by foreign insurance companies that take their profits away.
The unions can as well institute a scheme for their members who can spend at least one or two days in some of the hotels in Ghana together with their families whiles they are on leave.
