Ghanacard is already linked to Momo as well as Bank accounts also linked to DVLA, NHIS, SSNIT, and Controller among others.
NDC should come again
The Ghana card idea did not start with Bawumia. Discussions of having one national ID card replace all multiple cards has been a public one by many Ghanaians for decades. Bawumia did not originate that idea.

So, we should have card for everything when indeed one card can contain all the information? Your fingerprint is what will link you to the telcos momo, dvla, nhis, bank, etc, and the card will hold all that.
And, should a database be breached, all of one's private and public data suffer irretrievably. I hope they run this idea by a lot of computer security experts.

Outright discard of driver's license is an unwise decision. You can move to a virtual license and keep that from the NIA.
So someone without proper driving instruction but once in possession of Ghana card can drive a car?
