  How much is the teacher training allowance anyway. My ward is in the second year. In the first yesr i psid collegel fees of over c2000, sanitstion fee of c500, exam fees of over c900. In this second year, i have paid college fee of c1975, sanitation fee of c500 and exam fees have been fixed st c460 per semester. So far he has only been paid an allowance of c300.

  I am for the scrapping of the free allowances to be replaced by trainees accesing loans to pay for their training. Why should SHS day students be fed free? Can the economy sustain such populist decisions of the past government that have ruined the economy? Even in the rich countries Ghana borrows monies from they don't give free monetary allowances to trainee teachers and nurses.

  JM cannot pay feeding fee for Teacher trainees when the country is short of teachers but he’s gleefully paying 14,000 cedis per head for Moslems to go to Mecca,Massa Kwesi are afraid to talk about the Mecca going nonsense subsidy? Does almighty USA subsidize moslems embarking on the haj? Even the Almighty who has given us wisdom to think will happy with this monumental foolishness which will bring no benefit to the country.

Is there any more, Kwesi? Why are the teachers there fighting to be placed on equal benefits as university lecturers?
