I don’t think the upper west region lacks intellectuals to be appointed as CEO and what have you. Some of our people I think deserve a deputy ministerial positions are: Dr Yamin, Dr Titus Bayou, Dr Sabestine Sandaare, Mr Peter Toobu, etc. Fellow upper western people, start talking now because we are not seeing our men and women being considered by Mahama. They feel like we are satisfied with Bagbin as a speaker of parliament. They can take the speaker position and give us a minister.

John Dumelo is a fine gentleman but his appointment as a deputy minister of agriculture is rather premature. This man just entered parliament and is yet to learn how parliament runs and he is appointed a deputy minister ? What is his experience in parliamentary affairs? Is he able to combine his ministerial duties with that of parliament that he is yet to learn . This is ridiculous and I don’t think President Mahama thought through that appointment. That was a poor judgement on his part . There are experienced MPs who could have been considered for that post. Surprisingly Mahama left out Zenator Rawlings in his appointments and that is very bizarre . Yes her mother divorced the NDC but Zenator stayed to carry on the memories of her late dad who was the founder of the party and she should be considered for a ministerial position. Kamathi and the son of Atta Mills also deserve an appointment in any of the establishments because they were out there campaigning for the party .
