An English proverb said the pot calling the cattle black.
Joseph Boachie Danquah was together with Obetsebi Lamptey sentenced to death by hanging by no other person than Justice Edward Akufo-Addo, the father of the just former President Nana Akufo-Addo to hanging by the neck until they die for their involvement in several assassination attempts on Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and the assassination, murder and maiming of several children especially Young Pioneers.
The fact is that the shooting of those who were sentenced to death by a tribunal or quasi tribunal or a military tribunal is not an assassination, murder or maiming.
That is the reason why the 1992, 1969, 1979 Constitutions all indemnified all those who were involved in coups in Ghana.
It was alleged that Colonel Emmanuel Kwesi Kotoka and Major Amankwa Afrifa directly killed other military officers and other ranks during the 24th January, 1966 coup.
But the 1969 Constitution indemnified Amankwa Afrifa and others who were tigger happy on 24th February, 1966 and days after.
The only people who were not indemnified were Lt. Yeboah, Lt. Arthur and 2nd Lt. Osei Poku, who were sentenced by a Military Tribunal with sentence passed, approved by Lt. General Joseph Ankrah.
The fact is that civilian governments were not indemnified by our constitutions.
So whenever a person took the life of another or signed for that life to be taken unlawfully or being a leader of a coup, the constitution said it's a crime, thus those people were given a special padon, not to be tried for the assassination and murder they committed.
Thus an unlawful act that does not result in the overthrow of the then existing government is a crime and is confirmed as such.
It's on record that it was not only Dr. J.B. Danquah and Obetsebi Lamptey who were sentenced to death by hanging by our courts for acts that were against our constitutions.
It on record that J.B. and Lamptey died natural deaths in the prison before their sentences were affected which were hanging till they die.
On the coups that succeed, the indemnities inserted into the constitutions clear the murderers of their heinous crimes, which cannot be punished by any constitutional court.
So, from that its not proper for parliamentarians to mention such acts as crimes any longer in parliament that confirmed those acts as being lawful.

Many of us suffered the consequences of JJ Rawlings mistakes while we were growing up or in our early adulthood.
I am going to make a forecast: this lady here , this Zanetor girl will go very far. Great to see that she has refused to be react angrily or be drawn into what would inevitably be a foolish and undignified altercation and serious distraction. This is a young lady with focus and purpose.
She is leader in training. "WHEN YOUR CALLING IS GREAT YOUR APPRENTICESHIP WILL BE PAINFUL" and "WHEN YOU HAVE DIRECTION YOU WILL REFUSE DISTRACTION".
She is learning the importance of :
1.SELF-CONTROL- not responding to every offense or provocation ( Proverbs Chapter 15 verse 1 : A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.)
2. She is learning PATIENCE ,this is closely linked to point number 1 above. (Proverbs Chapter16 verse 32 New International Version: Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city).A patient man or woman will always outlast and outlive the opposition. She is learning that she is not called to fight every battle that confronts her. She is learning to carefully pick her fights.
We wish Ms Zanetor Rawlings all the best in her private and public life. May she come to trust completely in the God of Heaven, in the Lord Jesus Christ who is able to be her steadfast Rock ,her Salvation, her Protector and her Peace in this world that is so full of turmoil and uncertainty.

Instead of solving issues affecting the country and seeing the way forward, the sit in the parliament insulting one another. Stupid leaders with no respect. All because they don't buy anything in this country. They get everything for free while the tax payer buys things expensive. It's high time throw all useless Mps into prison. You can't remove the place of JB Dankwa from Ghana's history. That's the truth! Nkrumah whom you people ' love so much' was no saint; Nkrumah was brought in by UGCC(NPP), the first political party in Gold Coast to be Party Secretary. He betrayed them later and formed CPP. Let's be fair, at the time when it was dangerous to be a political activist JB was in the thick of it all using his acumen as a London trained lawyer to fight for Ghana(Gold Coast) and the British Colonies in West Africa as whole with his team which now included Nkrumah. Why should we celebrate one pioneer independence fighter and leave the other? His party worked against the interest of Britain in West Africa and yet some myopic people in this country choose to call him CIA? So should we call Nkrumah KGB because he chose the other ideological side? What baffles me is the honour that some people give to Kotoka. Someone removes your darling boy and you celebrate him with an airport? Even the opportunistic politicians today want to be celebrated! We should be fair to each other across the ETHNIC divide otherwise Ghana would be dismantled when a certain large ethnic group gets wiser. No joke! There are many examples of such events; 1830, Netherlands became Holland and Belgium; Luxembourg also broke away from same Netherlands! I could give more examples. And oh I almost forgot ancient Israel at the end of Solomon's reign; Israel became Samaria and Judah(two countries). Let's be civil and tolerant to each other. Parliamentarians lead by example, show respect. Civil society organisations don't be partisan and be bold to call a spade. Well, if our reps in parliament decide to turn the place into a circus, I'd be personally happy because it has been my wish to see the MARK of Otto Von Bismarck removed from West Africa. Kings of the land hold your breath and let's pray for them to continue fooling!

Ezenator must know it was just a matter of time for her to come face to face with the reality. Her continued association with NDC will remind people of her father's outrageous acts during AFRC and PNDC days.
