Stupid to say the least. Tell me, which tertiary student in Ghana gets paid allowance in his line of studies. These nursing and teacher training students have cheated their colleagues for far too long. They go to school, gets paid training allowance and also gets posting after completing school by the government meanwhile their colleagues who ends up at the polytechnic and the universities don’t get any of these opportunities but rather struggle to find jobs

Also tell us how many tertiary students are forced to wear uniforms, sweep classrooms, weed college compounds and apply for exact before moving out of campus. Some tertiary students can take alcohol before going to classes. This cannot happen in any College of Education because they are being trained to handle very young children.

People should understand that Teachers are the most impotent professionals in the world and we must respect them, without a teacher you can never get educated to become somebody to occupy higher positions including president. They are number one priority and then nurses too are equally important in terms of our health care every body goes to the hospital, for health care without the nurses who will take care of us and sickness is very painful that’s why the government gives them a little support to encourage more people into that profession for our wellbeing it is very important we should never underestimate them.

Treat these trainee teachers as tertiary students and the country will lose the professional qualities that are been imbued in them to teach in basic schools.
