So afterall said and done, it is now alright to use the "offensive" word "silly", not only on fellow-parliamentarians but during the full glare of proceedings in Parliament. What is surprising about this matter is, how Jerry Shaibu, a whole parliamentarian, who presumably was elected by over 30,000 of his constituents, can be so shabilly and disrespectfully treated in public by another parliamentarian as if he was Afenyos houseboy. He Jerry, then proceeds, upon the mischievous instructions of his micro-minority leader, to justify the disrespect inflicted upon him, by misconducting himself as a thug on the floor of parliament.

Even though the treatment of Jerry by Afenyo is distressing, it is difficult to sympathize with him. He should show a better strenght of character and resist the kind of subordination which he is being subjected to. For the sake and pride of his constituents, he should stand up on his own two feet and prove to Afenyo Markin that leadership is not about publicly abusing or belittling ones colleagues but in showing exemplary qualities of leadership.
